The 2nd Annual Astana International Forum Set for June 13-14

The Astana International Forum (AIF), the premier international conference of the region, will take place on June 13-14, 2024, under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana.

Building on the resounding success of its inaugural edition in 2023, this year’s event promises to offer a unique platform for global stakeholders to come together in addressing the pressing challenges to global security, stability, and prosperity, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Astana International Forum 2024 will assemble high-level government officials and business leaders from across the globe to deliberate on the most urgent issues of our time and explore new avenues for collaboration.

Following the remarkable turnout of over 5,000 delegates from more than 50 countries in 2023, including heads of state, prominent world leaders, business executives, and public figures, AIF2024 will once again revolve around four main themes: foreign policy and international security, international development and sustainability, energy and climate change, economics and finance.

These topics will be at the center of vigorous panel discussions, sessions, and networking opportunities over the course of two days, with a shared objective of achieving tangible outcomes to revitalize multilateralism and foster new avenues for bilateral partnerships.

The Astana International Forum 2024 holds significant importance for Kazakhstan on the global stage, as the country assumes the chairmanship of several leading international organizations this year, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, the Organization of Turkic States, the Islamic Food Organization security, and the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

Registration for the event is now open, and interested participants can sign up via the provided link.
