Terrorist Attack Targets Turkish Aerospace Industries in Ankara: Casualties Reported

A terrorist attack struck the facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) in Ankara, resulting in casualties, according to Türkiye's Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. He confirmed the deaths and injuries, urging the public to rely on official sources for accurate information.

Explosions and gunfire were heard at the TAI facility in the Kahramankazan district. Security forces, firefighters, and paramedics were quickly dispatched to the scene. Defense personnel were directed to shelters for safety.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacir stated that Turkey remains committed to advancing its defense sector, emphasizing the importance of the National Technology Initiative for the country’s full independence. Justice Minister announced that an investigation into the attack has been launched, with prosecutors assigned to the case.
