Tashkent to host first meeting of special representatives of neighboring countries of Afghanistan
The first meeting of special representatives of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries will be held in Tashkent, today, Turanews.kz reports citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The event will be attended by representatives of Uzbekistan, Iran, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
The meeting will discuss the current situation in Afghanistan, issues of interaction between the parties to resolve the situation in the country and establish long-term peace and stability, as well as providing humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
