As part of this visit, Tashkent will host its first Uzbek-Italian Educational Forum on September 24, according to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, as reported by the Dunyo News Agency.
The forum will bring together representatives from more than 20 top Italian universities, including the Turin Polytechnic University, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Bologna, Pisa, Bicocca Milan, Roma Tre, Tuscia, and Siena. Additionally, 46 leading universities from Uzbekistan will participate. During the event, several cooperation agreements between Italian and Uzbek universities are expected to be signed.
The forum’s agenda will focus on student and faculty exchange programs, teacher training, inter-university collaborations, support for joint research projects, and other key areas of academic cooperation.
Minister Bernini emphasized that the primary goal of the visit is to strengthen ties and advance collaborations between higher education institutions in both countries.
