Tajikistan to Learn from Kazakhstan’s Educational Experience
Tajikistan is set to explore Kazakhstan's educational practices, following a meeting between Kazakhstan's First Vice Minister of Education, Natalya Zhumadildaeva, and Tajikistan's Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Abdulzoda Ziyodullo. The discussions, as reported by the department’s press service, centered on potential collaboration in the education sector between the two nations.
During their educational exchange, the Tajik delegation aims to glean insights from Kazakhstan’s educational system, particularly based on the findings of the international PISA ranking.
“Through new projects and initiatives, we have significant opportunities to collaborate and achieve outstanding outcomes. I am confident that our partnership will not only strengthen the educational landscape but also foster closer ties between our peoples and cultures,” remarked the First Vice Minister.
Kazakhstan’s performance in the PISA rankings showcases notable achievements, with the country securing a place among the top 50 nations in mathematics and science. Kazakhstan demonstrated a remarkable improvement of 26 points in science while maintaining its standing in mathematics and reading.
Furthermore, as part of the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was formalized between the National Academy of Education “Y. Altynsarin” under the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan and the Academy of Education under the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.
