Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan discuss State border delimitation

A regular joint meeting of the government delegations of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border between the two countries was held in the Kyrgyz city of Batken , TuraNews.kz reports.

The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Saimumin Yatimov, and the delegation of Kyrgyzstan was headed by the head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev.

During the meeting, the two delegations held a detailed exchange of views on the issue of delimitation of the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border. The heads of the delegations expressed full mutual understanding about the need to intensify further description of the passage of the project line of the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border in the remaining sections.

The meeting also emphasized the need to strengthen friendship, mutual understanding, and trust between the border regions, as well as the continuation of active cooperation between the border regions and regions of the two states.

A protocol was signed following the results of the Joint meeting.
