Tajik judoka won a gold medal at the Asian Cup in Almaty

Tajik judoka Ibrokhimjon Elmurodov who is competing in the category over 100 kg, won a gold medal at the Asian Open Judo Cup among teenagers and youth in Almaty on April 9, Turanews.kz reports citing Tatarstan Judo.

Another Tajik judoka Muhammadjon Abdujalilzoda (-81 kg) won bronze medal in -81 kg classman.

In total, the national team of Tajikistan was represented by 13 athletes – 7 teenagers and 6 adults.

According to the results of the competition, the Tajik team won 4 bronze medals and 1 gold.
