
At Thursday’s meeting, deputies will review the Law on the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye on Cooperation in the Field of Quarantine and Plant Protection.
The goal of the agreement is to enhance bilateral cooperation in plant quarantine and protection to ensure phytosanitary safety and prevent the introduction and spread of quarantine harmful organisms in both countries.
The agreement covers all quarantine materials, including any plants, plant products, storage sites, packaging, transportation, containers, soil, and any other organisms, objects, or materials that could serve as a shelter for pests or facilitate their spread, particularly in cases of international transportation.
Additionally, during the Bureau meeting, deputies discussed upcoming events planned for the week in accordance with the Senate’s Action Plan and allocated laws previously passed by the Mazhilis of Parliament.
