On Wednesday, National Security Committe stated that on January 3, the special forces of Kazakhstand Russia Federation, implemented a joint special operation in the city of Baikonur to curb the activities of a socially dangerous organized criminal group, which included citizens of Kazakhstan and Russia together.
According to information, accomplices of the organized crime group were detained in Astana, Kyzylorda, Konaev, in total 18 leaders and active members were detained.
At present, within the framework of the pre-trial investigation, the involvement of the detainees in the commission of other crimes is being established, and the necessary investigative actions are being carried out.
