Special Grant Programs for Uzbek Youth to Be Launched in Cooperation with Türkiye

New opportunities are emerging for the youth of Uzbekistan as cooperation with Türkiye continues to expand.

A meeting between Abdullah Eren, the head of the General Directorate for Turks Abroad and Related Communities of Türkiye, and Senator Alisher Sadullayev, the Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan, marked a significant step forward, TuraNews.kz reports citing UzA.

The meeting focused on strengthening friendship and collaboration between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, particularly in areas related to youth development. Over recent years, ties between the two countries have grown stronger, achieving notable success, especially in youth policy initiatives.

One key initiative discussed was the Ibrat Farzandlari project, which aims to send Uzbek youth proficient in the Turkish language to Türkiye for experience-sharing programs. Additionally, proposals were made to establish special grant programs for Uzbek students for the 2025/2026 academic year. These initiatives are set to further bolster educational and cultural exchanges between the two nations.
