The Akorda press service announced on June 7 that South Korean President Yun Seok-yeol will make a state visit to Kazakhstan from June 11-13, 2024, at the invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the visit, the two presidents will engage in negotiations and participate in the Kazakh-Korean business forum. The visit will also see the signing of several bilateral agreements, highlighting the growing cooperation between the two nations.

This upcoming visit follows a meeting between Tokayev and Yun Seok-yeol in September 2023 at the UN headquarters in New York, where they discussed the future development of the Kazakh-Korean strategic partnership.
