Kazakhstan’s national broadcasting operator, Kazteleradio JSC, has warned citizens about scheduled maintenance work announced on February 4, 2026.
On February 5, temporary disruptions to television and communication services may occur across the country.
According to the official statement, planned maintenance will be carried out on national satellite, terrestrial digital broadcasting and television and radio transmission equipment, as well as on data transmission networks.
“The work will take place on February 5 from 03:00 to 17:00 in accordance with the approved schedule,” the press release states.
During this period, temporary interruptions may affect OTAU TV satellite services, terrestrial digital and analog television and radio broadcasting, as well as data transmission and telephony services.
Initially, the maintenance had been scheduled for January 26, but the planned shutdown of television and radio services was later canceled two days afterward.
