SOCAR denies sponsorship deal with Turkish football club

The Natural Gas Business Unit of SOCAR Türkiye has refuted information circulating on the signing a sponsorship contract with Turkish football club “Trabzonspor”, Turanews.kz reports.

SOCAR Türkiye shared a statement on the subject on its official Twitter account on Tuesday.

“Recent rumors on social media that SOCAR Türkiye will sponsor a Turkish football team do not reflect the truth. SOCAR Türkiye does not intend to sponsor any football club. Please do not trust such untrue news.” the message says.

Recently, there have been some rumors about the sponsorship of SOCAR Türkiye and the Turkish football club Trabzonspor on some social media accounts.
