Shavkat Rakhmonov Discovers His Standing in Updated UFC Rankings

In the latest UFC rankings update, Shavkat Rakhmonov has learned about his position, TuraNews.kz rpeorts.

Within the welterweight division, where Kazakhstan’s representative Shavkat Rakhmonov competes, Sean Brady has advanced to the sixth spot, pushing former adversary “Nomad” Stephen Thompson down to seventh. Rakhmonov himself maintains his position in third place, trailing only Qamar Usman and Belal Muhammad. The current UFC champion in this weight class is Leon Edwards.

Recalling that the bout between Shavkat Rakhmonov and Stephen Thompson occurred in December of the previous year, concluding with the victory of the Kazakh fighter via a chokehold in the second round.
