The storm struck the Bakai-Ata region, particularly affecting wheat fields in villages such as Kumushtak ayil aimak and Zhon-Korgon on May 1st. The onslaught of hail resulted in substantial losses to agricultural produce.
In addition to the agricultural damage, strong winds in the village of Boo-Terek tore off roofs from 15 residential buildings, adding to the destructive impact of the weather event.
Authorities are currently assessing the extent of material damage caused by the hailstorm and subsequent winds through the Civil Protection Commission.
