Schools in Kazakhstan Enter Fourth Quarter
Kazakhstani schools have commenced the fourth quarter, running from April 1 to May 25.
The quarter will span 8 academic weeks, culminating in the conclusion of the academic year on May 25, when results will be tallied.
Amidst efforts to coordinate flood control measures and address the aftermath of the flood period, 88 educational institutions will begin the fourth quarter with distance learning formats.
Local departments for education quality assurance and regional education departments are actively involved in overseeing operations on the ground. Psychological services are being deployed to provide necessary support to children situated in evacuation centers.
“Students are being equipped with essential items such as clothing, school supplies, and technical resources for remote learning. Additionally, discussions are underway regarding the provision of meals for evacuated students in grades 1-4.”, Mereke Amangeldykyzy, the official representative and press secretary of the department, highlighted these ongoing efforts.
