Wimbledon 2022 champion, world number four Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina has withdrawn from the Roland Garros 2023 tennis championship. Turanews.kz reports citing the Tennis Federation of Kazakhstan.
“I was not feeling good already yesterday and the day before, so I didn’t sleep two nights and had some fever. Today I really tried in the warm-up but I feel that the right decision is to withdraw, because it’s really tough to play with these conditions.”, Rybakina said.
Recall that on June 1, Rybakina confidently advanced to the third round of Roland Garros 2023. Elena Rybakina in the second round of the French Open achieved a confident victory over the representative of the Czech Republic Linda Noskova (50th in the WTA ranking).
