Rain, thunderstorms, and even snow in mountainous areas are forecasted for large parts of the Talas, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken, and Naryn regions, as well as some areas of the Chui and Issyk-Kul regions.
The foothill and mountain sections of roads are reported to have snow and icy conditions, with a west wind blowing at speeds of 4-9 m/s.
In the capital city of Bishkek, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with no precipitation. Daytime temperatures will reach around +23 degrees Celsius, dropping to +11 degrees Celsius at night.
Furthermore, there is a heightened risk of mudflows in the Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions in the mountainous and foothill areas on April 22-23, due to unstable weather and heavy local downpours.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations advises residents to clear ditches and drainage channels to mitigate potential consequences, as flooding of slopes and lowlands, along with increased water levels in rivers, are anticipated.
