According to the press service of Uzaviation, the Civil Aviation Agency granted Qazaq Air permission to fly to Uzbekistan on March 13. The airline will operate flights on the Turkestan — Samarkand — Turkestan route using BC DHC-8−402 aircraft.
In late February, the company announced its plans to launch direct flights between the two cities. From March 15 onwards, flights will be available twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays.
The flight schedule is as follows:
- Departure from Turkestan at 20:20, arriving in Samarkand at 21:20.
- Departure from Samarkand at 22:10, arriving in Turkestan at 23:10.
Qazaq Air, established in 2018, is an interregional airline owned by the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund. Its primary hub is located at Astana Airport.
