President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan is set to embark on official visits to the Italian Republic and the Vatican State on January 18-19, TuraNews.kz reports.
During the first day of the visit, President Tokayev is scheduled to engage in negotiations with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Additionally, the head of state will participate in the investment round table themed “Kazakhstan – Italy” and hold meetings with top executives of several prominent Italian companies.
On January 19, President Tokayev will have a notable audience with Pope Francis in the Vatican, marking a significant diplomatic interaction.
As part of the visit, the President will also visit the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the UN World Food Program (WFP), underscoring Kazakhstan’s commitment to international cooperation and engagement with key organizations addressing global challenges.
