President Tokayev Welcomes Ambassadors from Six Countries

A ceremony held at the Akorda residence saw the presentation of credentials to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev by Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from six states.

The following ambassadors presented their credentials: Ibtissam Rakha Ahmed Hassan from the Arab Republic of Egypt, Vladimir Jovicic from the Republic of Serbia, Thomas Reisen from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, John William Gearing from Australia, Hector Isidro Arenas Neira from the Republic of Colombia, and Bashar Jafari from the Syrian Arab Republic.

Congratulating the diplomats on the commencement of their official missions, the President highlighted Kazakhstan’s peaceful and constructive foreign policy.

“We aim to foster close relations and maintain good ties with all nations, particularly our neighboring countries. I am confident that significant success awaits us on this journey, and we will spare no effort to strengthen cooperation across various domains, including economics, investment, and political dialogue. You can rest assured that Kazakhstan will stand as a steadfast partner on the international stage,” remarked the President.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended his best wishes to the ambassadors, assuring them of the full support of the Kazakhstani government throughout their tenure. He also conveyed warm regards and greetings to the heads of their respective states.
