President Tokayev Visits SANA Sport Center

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the SANA Sport family center as part of his tour of social facilities in the capital.

The center features 29 sports, creative, and educational clubs, staffed by 29 coaches and 25 highly qualified teachers.

During the visit, the President was briefed on social projects by the Damu Development Group consortium and was presented with a plan for renovating the park within the SANA Sport complex.

President Tokayev toured the gyms, creative clubs, and classrooms. He also presented a gift to Ayar Altynbek, a two-time world chess champion conducting a master class at the center, and wished her continued success. Ayar recently wrote to the President requesting a meeting, which was fulfilled today.

The center provides additional education for over 4,000 children, with the Mereke Charitable Foundation supporting teenagers from low-income families to attend the clubs.
