President Tokayev Visits Kazakhstan International School Astana
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev commenced his working visit to the capital with a tour of Kazakhstan International School Astana (KIS Astana), a state-of-the-art educational facility.

Spanning over 20,000 square meters, the school is designed to accommodate 800 students and 120 preschoolers. KIS Astana holds the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) accreditation and offers three IB programs:
- Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 5–11,
- Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11–16, and
- Diploma Programme (IB) for ages 16–19.
The school features modern classrooms equipped with advanced technologies to foster a comfortable and dynamic learning environment, supporting the growth and potential of each student. Its extensive sports facilities include a football stadium, tennis court, mini-football field, and two swimming pools.
During the visit, President Tokayev highlighted the importance of enhancing education standards in Kazakhstan, emphasizing that institutions like KIS Astana play a pivotal role in nurturing competitive and well-rounded young individuals.
