President Tokayev Receives Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky in Akorda
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky, highlighting the strong and long-standing cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic, based on mutual friendship and respect.
During the meeting, President Tokayev expressed optimism that Lipavsky’s visit would further enhance the multifaceted relationship between the two nations. He emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to close collaboration with the Czech Republic, which is viewed as an important partner within the European Union. Tokayev also pointed to the potential for increased trade and investment ties, reiterating Kazakhstan’s support for Czech investors.
Jan Lipavsky, in turn, conveyed an official invitation from Czech President Petr Pavel for Tokayev to visit Prague. He underlined the importance of growing economic cooperation between the two countries, identifying industry, the green transition, and energy as key areas of focus.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues. At the end of the meeting, President Tokayev sent his regards to Czech President Petr Pavel.
