President Tokayev Receives Credentials from Ambassadors of Seven Nations

A formal ceremony took place at the Akorda residence, where President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev accepted credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors of seven countries. The event marked the official start of diplomatic missions for the ambassadors.

The diplomats presenting their credentials included the Ambassador of Spain, Luis Francisco Martinez Montes; Ambassador of Estonia, Jaap Ora; Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov; Ambassador of Sudan, Mohammed al-Ghazali Sirraj; Ambassador of Rwanda, Charles Kayonga; Ambassador of the Dominican Republic, Alejandro Arias Zarzuela; and Ambassador of Mauritius, Heswar Janke.

During his address, President Tokayev emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to peaceful foreign relations and its openness to international collaboration. He reaffirmed the country’s dedication to the principles outlined in the United Nations Charter, noting Kazakhstan’s strong support for the UN’s role in the global arena.

“Kazakhstan is a dynamically growing nation, and we are working towards building a sustainable economy. Achieving this goal is challenging, but much depends on our cooperation with your countries,” the President remarked.

In conclusion, President Tokayev congratulated the ambassadors on their new roles and extended his best wishes to the leaders of their respective nations.
