President Tokayev Meets with Minister of Tourism and Sports Ermek Marzhikpayev
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received a briefing from Minister of Tourism and Sports Ermek Marzhikpayev on preparations for the upcoming XXXIII Summer Olympic Games. The minister reported on the results of Kazakh athletes in qualifying competitions.
Marzhikpayev informed the President that Kazakhstan has secured 92 licenses in 25 sports for the main event of the next four years. A total of 80 athletes will represent the country in Paris.
He also discussed the national team’s pre-Olympic training camps and measures to support the athletes, along with efforts to improve sports management institutions.
President Tokayev emphasized the significant responsibility placed on athletes by the Olympic Games and highlighted that the Kazakh national team should exemplify culture, perseverance, and professionalism.
