President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, met with Wong Heng Fine, Chairman of Asia Infrastructure Solutions Singapore, to discuss the future of the Alatau City project, according to a statement from the Akorda press service.
The meeting focused on attracting foreign investment, technology, and expertise for the development of Alatau City. President Tokayev highlighted the adoption of the city’s General Plan in May 2024, developed in collaboration with the Singaporean firm Surbana Jurong.
Tokayev expressed confidence in Wong Heng Fine’s extensive experience, believing his guidance as the lead consultant would play a vital role in the design and construction of Alatau City, envisioned as an international business hub.
