President Tokayev Meets Special Representative for Afghanistan
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with the Special Representative on Afghanistan, underscoring the official’s key role in strengthening bilateral ties with the Afghan authorities, according to the press service of Akorda.

During the meeting, Tokayev instructed the envoy to focus on enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation with Afghanistan in trade, economics, and humanitarian fields. He also highlighted the importance of fully utilizing the potential of the UN Regional Centre for Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan, which was recently launched in Almaty.
Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to continue its humanitarian and educational initiatives aimed at supporting stability and security in Afghanistan.
