During the meeting, President Tokayev emphasized the importance Kazakhstan places on strengthening its multifaceted partnership with the EU, calling it one of the country’s key and reliable partners. He noted that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement.
The President also highlighted the productive and constructive dialogue taking place between the Central Asian nations and the European Union.
For his part, Edgars Skuja-Steprāis reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Kazakhstan and expressed confidence that practical collaboration across both bilateral and regional agendas will continue to progress.
