President Tokayev Honors Heroes of Aktau Plane Crash Rescue
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has awarded a group of Kazakhstani citizens for their exceptional heroism, professionalism, and civic duty in rescuing passengers from the Azal airline plane that crashed in Mangistau region.
The honorees include members of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, healthcare workers, police officers, staff from the Mangistau regional power grid company, and employees of Aktau International Airport.
The tragic incident occurred near Aktau airport on December 25. Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the site, providing vital assistance to the survivors.
