During the call, President Tokayev congratulated President Mirziyoyev on his birthday, extending his best wishes for his well-being and continued success in his leadership role for the benefit of the people of Uzbekistan.
President Tokayev expressed his high regard for President Mirziyoyev’s personal contribution to strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The leaders acknowledged the positive development in bilateral relations and discussed opportunities for enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including trade, economy, transport and logistics, energy, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Additionally, they addressed current regional and international issues and exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming summit meetings.
