President Tokayev had a meeting with Chairperson of CLASS Group Supervisory Board
The management of "CLAAS Group" told the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan about the plan to expand the production of agricultural machinery
President Tokayev welcomed the Chairperson of Supervisory Board of CLAAS Group Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser in his office, the press service of Akorda reports.
At the meeting, Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser shared her company’s plans on the expansion of agricultural vehicles production in Kazakhstan.
Last year, the company launched a plant on assembly of harvesters, tractors, seeding complexes and reapers in the city of Petropavlvosk. As of today, the company has already assembled more than 400 unites of vehicles including high-capacity harvesters.
The President was also informed about measures to localize the production of agricultural machinery and components.
The head of state noted the considerable potential of the country’s agro-industrial complex and said that it is important to update the park of agricultural machinery and increase local coverage.
Development of cooperation was positively assessed at the meeting.
