Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping following the tragic earthquake in the northwestern part of China, TuraNews.kz reports.
In a telegram, President Tokayev expressed deep sorrow upon learning about the devastating earthquake in Gansu province, which resulted in numerous casualties. The message conveyed sympathy to President Xi Jinping and the families who lost their loved ones in the natural disaster. President Tokayev emphasized that, during this challenging time, the people of Kazakhstan stand in solidarity with the Chinese people, sharing in the pain of the irreparable loss.
The telegram concluded with President Tokayev wishing a swift recovery for the earthquake victims and a safe reunion of the missing citizens with their families.
