President Tokayev Congratulates Uzbek Leader in Phone Call, Highlights Strategic Ties
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, warmly congratulating him on his birthday and wishing continued success in his leadership for the benefit of the Uzbek people.

During the call, Tokayev praised Uzbekistan’s dynamic progress under Mirziyoyev’s leadership, especially in the socio-economic sphere. He emphasized the strong, strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, rooted in mutual trust, good neighborliness, and close cooperation.
The presidents noted the expansion of bilateral trade, cultural and humanitarian exchange, as well as collaboration in science and education. Tokayev stressed that the level of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan plays a vital role in ensuring the sustainable development of Central Asia as a whole.
The two leaders discussed joint efforts to advance collaborative projects in industry, energy, transport, logistics, and agriculture. They also exchanged views on regional cooperation issues and reviewed the schedule of upcoming high-level meetings, both bilateral and multilateral.
