President Tokaev Meets with Saida Mirziyoyeva

The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, held a meeting with Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, to discuss ways to enhance the multifaceted partnership between the two countries.

During the meeting, President Tokayev emphasized the allied and strategic nature of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan’s relationship. He highlighted the importance of establishing close contacts between the presidential administrations to effectively expand political dialogue at both the highest and high levels, according to the press service of Akorda.

The discussions focused on deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors, including information-ideological, cultural-humanitarian, educational, and youth policy areas. Special attention was given to strengthening ties in these fields to promote closer collaboration and understanding between the two nations.

President Tokayev also welcomed the upcoming international intellectual games “Zakovat” in Astana, recognizing the significant role such events play in fostering cultural connections between the peoples of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
