President of Uzbekistan to Visit Türkiye
The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay an official visit to Türkiye on June 6 at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to the presidential press service.
During the visit, the two leaders will chair the third meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council in Ankara. The summit will focus on enhancing Uzbek-Turkish relations and their comprehensive strategic partnership.
Key topics on the agenda include boosting trade, and advancing cooperation in various sectors such as industry, green energy, electrical engineering, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. These discussions will also explore opportunities within the public-private partnership program.
Cultural and humanitarian exchanges will be addressed, along with discussions on international political issues.
Following the talks, several bilateral agreements are expected to be signed. Additionally, Presidents Mirziyoyev and Erdogan will hold their first joint meeting with leaders of major enterprises and companies from both countries.
