President of Turkic Academy Engages in International Summit on Strategic Communications-2023
The International Strategic Communications Summit 2023 (Stratcom Summit), orchestrated by the Communications Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, kicked off in Istanbul, TuraNews.kz reports.
At the inaugural session of the summit, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a video address to the participants, focusing on the overarching theme, “Global Fight Against Hybrid Threats: Stability, Security, Solidarity.” Notable figures, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Communications Department Head Fahrettin Altun, and UN Global Communications Department Head Melissa Fleming, delivered opening remarks. This high-profile event has drawn around 3,000 participants from 30 countries, featuring 60 experts from diverse fields such as the public and private sectors, media, academia, think tanks, and international and non-governmental organizations.
Notably, Sahin Mustafayev, the President of the Turkic Academy, is actively participating in the summit’s proceedings. The summit’s agenda is dedicated to addressing crucial issues, ranging from countering hybrid threats to digital public communications, exploring new technologies and artificial intelligence, addressing humanitarian crises, and fortifying international resilience. The two-day summit is scheduled to conclude on November 25, 2023.
