President of Kyrgyzstan to Visit Uzbekistan for Bilateral Talks

Sadyr Japarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan, will visit Uzbekistan for a state visit on July 18-19. This visit is at the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan.

Muratbek Azymbakiev, head of the foreign policy department of the Kyrgyz presidential administration, announced the visit. According to Azymbakiev, President Japarov will have bilateral talks with President Mirziyoyev. They will discuss various issues of mutual interest and explore ways to enhance Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations.

During his visit, President Japarov will also participate in the official opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan. Additionally, there will be an online opening ceremony for ongoing bilateral projects involving both heads of state.

The visit will include other significant events such as the Kyrgyz-Uzbek business forum and a forum for rectors of higher educational institutions from both countries.
