President of Kyrgyzstan to Visit Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan for International Summits

Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov will undertake working visits to Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan from November 11-13 to participate in significant international summits.

At the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President Japarov will attend an extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit on November 11. The summit will focus on the escalation of tensions in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as efforts to resolve the Middle East conflict.

Muratbek Azymbakiyev, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, stated that the summit will address the current situation in Palestine and southern Lebanon, along with broader issues affecting the Middle East. Japarov is expected to deliver a speech and hold several bilateral meetings with Saudi officials.

From November 12-13, at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Japarov will participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). On November 12, he will attend the opening ceremony of the Climate Summit and deliver a speech during the plenary session.
