As a mark of respect, the President’s aircraft was escorted through Serbian airspace by fighter jets from the host country’s air force.
The centerpiece of the visit will be high-level talks between the two leaders. Discussions are expected to focus on strengthening cooperation in key areas, including politics, trade and economics, transport and logistics, as well as cultural and humanitarian initiatives.
The visit is set to culminate in the signing of several bilateral agreements. President Tokayev is also scheduled to meet Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević as part of the agenda.
