According to the President, Kazakhstan and Japan are bound by long-standing friendly relations based on mutual respect and fruitful cooperation across various fields.
For his part, Emperor Naruhito expressed confidence that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit would become a significant milestone in the history of Japan–Kazakhstan relations and elevate bilateral ties to a qualitatively new level.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on issues of bilateral cooperation as well as international matters.
