President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Bali for the 17th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit, met with President Joko Widodo of Indonesia, press service of Presidency of Republic of Turkey reports.
The two leaders made brief statements to the press prior to their bilateral meeting at the Apurva Kempinski, the main venue for the G20 summit. President Erdoğan expressed his gratitude to his Indonesian counterpart for the hospitality showed towards himself and his delegation.
Congratulating Indonesia on its successful G20 term presidency, President Erdoğan voiced his pleasure that Indonesia would take over MIKTA term presidency from Türkiye next April.
Wishing success to Indonesia during its 2023 ASEAN term presidency, President Erdoğan said: “I expect your support for our dialogue partnership goal.”
