Over 30 Tons of Humanitarian Aid Dispatched from Astana to Flood-Affected Regions

Representatives of the National Volunteer Network announced the dispatch of over 30 tons of humanitarian aid from Astana to regions grappling with flood control efforts. Across the weekend, 14 GAZelles loaded with aid departed from Astana to regions where flood control measures are underway.

Residents of the capital rallied together to collect essentials such as clothing, food, hygiene products, and more for those affected by the floods. Currently, nine warehouses in the capital are actively operating to facilitate aid storage and distribution. The collection effort involves 30 volunteer organizations and 200 dedicated volunteers.

Meanwhile, aid collection points in the affected regions are operating in an enhanced capacity to meet the pressing needs of affected communities.

In a gesture of solidarity, humanitarian aid from the Turkestan region arrived in Aktobe on March 31, aiming to alleviate the plight of residents in the affected areas of the region.
