A decision has been made to allocate 17.3 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a new K. Munaitpasov Stadium in Astana, replacing the old one.
The original K. Munaitpasov Central Stadium was built in 1936. Currently, the old structure has been completely demolished due to its dilapidated condition. The new stadium is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.
The sports facility will have a capacity of 3,598 seats, including accommodations for individuals with limited mobility. The stadium will be built to UEFA international standards. Upon completion, the facility will be transferred to the balance sheet of the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 8 of the Astana City Akimat.
The new stadium will be used for training sessions. Its commissioning will improve the training process, create optimal conditions for athlete preparation, and enhance their performance.
