OTS Secretary General met with the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in New York

Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), H.E. Ersin Tatar on 20 September 2022 in New York, Turanews.kz reports

The President and Secretary General exchanged views on the situation in TRNC and diplomatic efforts for finding a solution regarding the island as well as on the recent developments taking place in the region.

Parties discussed the prospects of closer cooperation between TRNC and OTS in the upcoming period.
