“Ordabasy” Shocks in Champions League First Round
In a surprising turn of events, "Ordabasy," last season's national champions, completed the first round of the Champions League.
The professional football club from Shymkent, Kazakhstan, faced Moldovan team “Petrocuba” in the second leg of the first round. The match took place at the Zimbru stadium in Chisinau and ended with a 1-0 defeat for “Ordabasy.”
It is worth noting that the first match in Shymkent ended in a goalless draw.
