Oil Prices Inch Up Following Iran’s Strike on Israel

In the wake of Iran's attack on Israel, global oil prices have seen a modest increase of 0.3-0.4%.

As of 1:16 Moscow time, June futures for Brent oil climbed by 0.357% to $90.48 per barrel, while May futures for WTI oil rose by 0.28% to $85.69.

The attack, carried out by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), came as a response to the destruction of the Iranian consulate in Syria by Israeli aircraft earlier in April. Reports suggest the attack involved a variety of weaponry, including missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, including Shahed kamikaze drones.
