New “Eagle” Competence Center Set to Soar in East Kazakhstan Region

A distinctive competence center, named "Eagle," is set to emerge in the Ulan district, dedicated to imparting berkutchi skills and promoting the rich traditions and customs of the Kazakh people.

The region’s governor, Ermek Kosherbaev, recently held a meeting with the renowned berkutchi Aysholpan and her parents. Aisholpan’s father, Nurgayip Irysuly, plans to compile a book encompassing national traditions and the art of hunting and bird handling. He is also slated to assume the pivotal role of the main consultant at the newly established Competence Center.

“The natural surroundings near the village are ideal for Berkutchi development. Your expertise is invaluable, and publishing a book along with instructional materials is essential. The new center will feature restaurants offering traditional Kazakh cuisine tailored for European tastes. I am confident that this center will become a focal point for foreign tourists,” remarked Governor Ermek Kosherbayev during the meeting.

Berkutchi Aisholpan Nurgayypkyzy is poised to serve as the brand ambassador for the upcoming Competence Center. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to witness her mastery, further enhancing the center’s appeal and showcasing the artistry of berkutchi skills along with the rich cultural heritage of the Kazakh people.
