
The Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that a civil defense commission promptly began assessing the damage following the earthquake. So far, 48 homes have been confirmed as damaged, and an official report has been filed. Commission data indicates that 31 of these homes were insured.
The distribution of damaged homes is as follows:
- Kopyuro-Bazar: 26 homes
- Aral: 12 homes
- Uch-Emchek: 2 homes
- Shumkar-Uya: 6 homes
- Manas: 1 home
- Kok-Oy: 1 home
Additionally, two earthquakes were recorded in Kazakhstan’s Jambyl region on March 28. The tremors measured 5.0 in Merke village, 4.0 in Kulan village, and 2.0 in Shu city. The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be within Kyrgyzstan’s territory.
