Nationwide Preparations Underway for Türkiye’s 100th Republic Anniversary Celebrations

As the Republic of Türkiye eagerly approaches its 100th anniversary, meticulous preparations are well underway throughout the nation to mark this historic occasion. The official venues for these momentous celebrations have been unveiled, promising a spectacular commemoration.

In an official announcement from the Presidency Directorate of Communications, it was disclosed that a series of captivating events will unfold, including drone displays, breathtaking fireworks, and mesmerizing light shows at the iconic July 15 Martyrs Bridge. The festivities are set to commence at 8 pm, promising a visual spectacle that will leave spectators in awe.

Among the highlights of the centennial celebration is the “100th Anniversary of our Republic Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Special Exhibition,” which will be hosted at Üsküdar Square. Commencing at 10 in the morning and continuing well into the night, this exhibition promises to be a fitting tribute to the legacy of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Notably, as part of the extensive program of events, awe-inspiring monoliths bearing a monumental resemblance will be erected at key locations across the country. Bakırköy Freedom Square in Istanbul, Kızılay Square in Ankara, and Konak Square in İzmir are among the sites selected for these impressive installations. These digital hubs, tailored to the 100th anniversary theme, will provide citizens with unique and engaging content to ensure a memorable celebration for all.
